Abstract

Strategy of Survive the Fishermen Laborers in Barombong Tamalate Sub-district, Makassar City. The purpose of this research is to determine the socio-economic condition of fishermen laborers and to know the income of fishermen laborers in met the needs of life reasonably and to know the Strategy of Survive the Fishermen Laborers in Barombong. This research is a type of survey research while based on the analysis approach including qualitative descriptive research with sample technique used is Random Sampling with a total sample is 149 respondents. There are three kinds of collecting data that used in this research, first Observation Techniques secondly Interview Techniques and thirdly Documentation Techniques. The results of this research are firstly Based on the socio-economic condition the level of education is still relatively low only finished primary school. Secondly the income level of fishermen laborers has a moderate income level which has 80.54 percent, based on UMP of South Sulawesi Province the income level of fishermen laborers has not met the needs of life reasonably. Thirdly The strategies employed by fishermen laborers in survival include adding working days, sending household members to work, and minimizing expenses, getting used to living frugally, and utilizing government programs.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to know the characteristics of the To Balo Tribe's life pattern in the village of Bulo-BuloPujananting Sub-district of Barru Regency, the social relationship of To Balo Tribe with the surrounding community. The type of research is qualitative research with Ethnography approach. The results showed that, their To Balo Tribe lives cooking, cultivating yams, corn, and beans, farming and processing palm sugar. In the dry season they grow peanut plants that do not really need water. In addition to farming, To Too tribe also raises ducks, chickens, and cattle. To Balo interaction with the people around the beginning was not good To Balo did not want to mingle, due to feel ashamed then To Balo not out of the settlement, the local community is not disturbed To To Balo but over the development time To Balo is open and willing to blend, even have often to the city each week with the Bulo-Bulo community and mingle as well if there is an invitation to a party or a show of salvation. Suggestions that will be compilers give is the existence of Tribe To Balo in the future is still maintained and protected from extinction and non To Balo people can live together, and still high up the local cultures and wisdom and in the guarding and preservation of To Balo Tribes is very in need, because it will impact on the object directly.

Abstract

Students as part of the community many are using social media for social interaction with other social media user one of these social media Instagram. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Palopo. This research aims to find out (1). How social interaction students of grade eleventh Social Science Department that is using Instagram. (2) How the role of social media Instagram in social interactions among students grade eleventh Social Science Department SMAN 2 in action. The population in this research is the grade eleventh Social Science Department who use Instagram as much as 103 students, while for the sample about 82 students using the Slovin’s formula. As for the technique of collecting data using the method of observation, things are observed i.e. profile SMAN 2 Palopo and process direct interaction as well as indirect interaction through social media and informer screen capture and then interview i.e., duration which used by students in a day for access Instagram, the role Instagram in social interaction of students, the reason students accesses Instagram and direct interaction during the process of using social media and documentation, be either Instagram content social interaction with social media Instagram. With the consent of the informants, screen-capture to in later analyzed in order to be known to students in Instagram functions interact. While the analysis used in the study is qualitative, descriptive. The results of this research show that most instrumental in Instagram can change student’s behavior. Instagram is more often used to find information related to entertainment. Instagram release as a means for students with poured it in the feature instastory. Postings-postings on Instagram can also make the students sympathize. There are 89% of students say that social media plays a role in their social interaction at school. There are 6% of students who consider Instagram may play a role in their social interactions and 5% who feel not acted.

Abstract

The aim of research to determine: 1) methods of presenting information based GIS infrastructure, 2) distribution facilities and infrastructure, and 3) The condition of facilities and infrastructure. This research was conducted by survey method. The study population includes building government infrastructure, economy, education, and worship kesehatanm with purposive sampling technique. Qualitative descriptive analysis based geographic information system. The results showed: 1) Presentation of information facilities and infrastructures based GIS is done by describing the results of the survey in the field with the attribute data (tables of research) and spatial data in the form of a map that details of each infrastructure that includes government, the economy, education, health, and worship that is able to answer all of the existing problems. 2) Distribution of facilities and infrastructure tend to converge on the village as well as for economic infrastructure centered in the Village Watampone, facilities and infrastructure pendidikakan centered in the Village Blue. 3) The condition of facilities and infrastructure are categorized in very good condition with aspects of SSR assessment in the form of the building functioned as the function of the establishment, fitness for use, facilities support adequate and good maintenance.

Abstract

Research aims to understand : 1) What factors that supports and hindered the development of industry furniture 2) How distribution marketing industry furniture 3) Is there influence significant industry furniture. The variables that will be investigated in this study , which is the amount of raw materials , amount of capital , the amount of labor , technology to be used , amount of produce , the distribution of marketing , level of income , a population of which is 25  Entrepreneurs , data collection through technique observation , interview , documentation .Then in analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential .  The research results show 1). Factors that support in developing industry furniture there are locations , strategic , raw materials available , labor skilled , advanced technology .Factors that impede in developing industry furniture and: limited capital , transportation used still using a rent  2) Distribution markets for produce furniture through orders directly to the locations of industry , through shops nearest , and distribution of to various regions that is makassar , gowa , sinjai , bantaaeng , bulukumba , bone 3) Capital and produce having influence a significant impact on income the bigger capital the higher income results furniture, including with the volume of production, the bigger the volume of production the bigger also the income . The development of industry furniture in malewang village polombangkeng utara district  and takalar regency have qualified when viewed from the perspective of the results of prosuksi and the location of marketing
